This transfer business makes me violent

Hello all,

If you're reading this your either and Arsenal fan or incredibly bored. Either way hopefully my opinion can freshen up your life, or at least make you angry. Both would be find with me. Let's not start with the Cesc or Nasri situation, I'll just come out and say I 100% support Arsene in this upcoming season. He has lead us to silverware before and has this team terribly close to getting some again. Many Arsenal fans have called for his head this summer, or at least a good kick up the arse. I think the board throwing their support behind him is wise, I'd rather have a united front office than have a front office like Chelsea. Pricks.

On to the team and transfers. I should warn you that if you mention the name 'Mata' to me right now I would probably hit you very hard upside the head. I've heard his name much to often this summer to not see his name on the back of an Arsenal shirt. I think he would be a valued acquisition. His ability to create as well as score at a high level is proven, it also certainly helps that he is very young. Valencia has been reluctant to sell him, as any ambitious club playing Champions League football should be, but in the end I believe they will sell as long as we meet their asking price. That's not a lot to ask for given the current Cesc situation. I hope to see him arrive in the coming weeks, according to all reports that looks to be the case. We'll have to see.

As far as defenders go, any of the targets Arsenal is linked with nowadays tickles my fancy. Maybe it's just my eyes deceiving me, but when I see any defender that isn't Squillaci I get a strange smile on my face and I start to see trophies dance across the room. But again, that could be just me. I've taken a liking to Jagielka, and reports also indicate that he could be on his way. Let's get our hopes as high as Arsenal fans can and cross our fingers.

I refuse to dignify both the Cesc and Nasri situations much words. So here are the few I will say: Sell Nasri. His money grabbing antics have gotten old, he's replaceable and hasn't performed for that long. Sell and spend the money. I love Cesc. Always will, so the longer he keeps an Arsenal jersey the better. I don't see that being reality for much longer though.

Well I'm gonna go spend some time refreshing websites.
I hate the transfer window!!!!!!!!!!!!
